Warranty for glasses
“Optikos pasaulis” is committed to ensuring that every customer purchases only quality and reliable products. That’s why we offer a warranty on all our corrective eyewear and sunglasses.
Terms and conditions of the spectacles warranty service
To take advantage of the guarantee, bring the glasses together with the purchase document to your nearest Optikos Pasaulio showroom. For a list of all opticians, click here.
Corrective spectacles and sunglasses are covered by warranty:
- manufacturing defects during the warranty period;
- Free 12-month maintenance guarantee for corrective/sunglasses (minor repairs: replacing screws, nosepieces, cleaning glasses in an ultrasonic bath, etc.).
Each warranty case is assessed individually by our specialists.
When are glasses not covered by the warranty?
- If your glasses are damaged due to misuse or an accident (e.g. breakage of glasses or sunglasses, scratching of lenses).
- Failure to follow the instructions for use or care of sunglasses.
- Natural wear and tear due to long use.

Extra warranty for glasses
The additional spectacle warranty service is recommended for those who want extra protection for their corrective or sunglasses in case they are accidentally broken or otherwise damaged.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a guarantee if the glasses are scratched or broken due to careless use?
No. Mechanical damage caused by misuse, dropping, deformation or scratching is excluded from the warranty.
How long is the spectacle care guarantee valid?
12 months from the date of purchase. During this period, we provide free minor repairs such as replacing screws and nosepieces and ultrasonic cleaning.
Where do I go for warranty coverage or glasses repair?
For after-sales service, please contact any Optikos Pasaulio showroom. Our specialists will assess your glasses and inform you of the next steps.
What is the difference between the normal spectacle warranty and the additional one?
The normal warranty covers factory defects and minor maintenance, while an additional warranty may cover more extensive damage such as broken glasses. Read more about the additional warranty for glasses here.
