Instructions for use of corrective spectacles

  • Only use the glasses as recommended by your eye care professional. The glasses are custom-made and cannot be loaned to others. Keep your glasses away from children.
  • Put the glasses on and take them off with both hands holding the feet of the glasses. Do not wear the goggles on the top of the head, forehead or in any other way than specified in these instructions. This will protect the glasses from frame deformation.
  • Check periodically that the shape and wearing position of the glasses are correct.
  • Do not place the lenses of your glasses on hard surfaces – this will protect your glasses from scratches.
  • Store your glasses in a hard, closed glasses case (when not in use)(Glasses cases). It will protect your glasses not only from scratches, but also from accidental knocks, breakages, etc.
  • Do not carry your glasses without a case in your handbag, pocket or similar. Various objects (keys, combs, phones, etc.) can damage them.
  • Clean your glasses only with products specifically designed for cleaning glasses(eyeglass wipes, eyeglass cleaners).
  • Do not use the goggles as a means of protection (e.g. for welding, working with hazardous materials).
  • Protect your glasses from high temperatures, and do not leave them in places where hot air is concentrated (e.g. in the sauna, in the car, by the fireplace, oven, hairdryer on, etc.). Sudden temperature fluctuations can cause damage to the lenses or the frame of the glasses (deformation, discolouration, chipping/cracking of the lens coating).
  • When wearing glasses, avoid direct contact with chemicals that can damage the surface of the glasses (e.g. hairspray, etc.).
  • If your glasses are damaged, you must contact an optician (you cannot repair them yourself).
  • Adaptation to new glasses can take between 1 and 4 weeks, depending on the type of glasses, their optical properties and individual factors,
